Tucked away in a leafy gully of Merewether’s beachside suburb, this single-story facade gracefully blends with and enhances the surrounding streetscape. At the rear, a generous two-story structure frames a mature eucalyptus, serving as a prominent feature. The L-shaped design is carefully oriented to capture northern light and integrates fluidly with a sunken garden and swimming pool, promoting a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
The design incorporates natural materials, large openings, and solid operable casement windows, ensuring comfort and privacy while adapting to the distinctive topography and its interactions with nearby buildings.
