This boldly contemporary single-level home is a statement piece set on a hill in the quiet village of Raworth, just north of East Maitland. Designed with family living in mind, it balances open-plan shared living with private spaces for parents and teenagers alike.
Owner Rachel had a keen eye for detail and design, overseeing the development of drawings by a local draftsperson that accommodated the family’s needs to a tee. Polished concrete floors, plywood ceilings, small-format tiles, black painted cladding and anodised windows all bring an ultra-modern look to this charming neighbourhood of mainly 1970s and 80s brick homes.
